INSTRUCTION SET FOR OPERATING
FARM TRAILER is the most commonly used tractor attachment which imparts the real versatility to the tractor as an ideal “rural truck". Farm trailer are usually 2 wheel or 4 wheel type (non-tipping / hydraulic tipping) depending on the usage requirements. They can be hitched to any make or model of tractor.
1. Loading/unloading the trolley
The trolley is provided with three open able panels, two on each side and one on the rear for loading / unloading the material on the trolley. For opening the panels remove pull the locking pins of the panels and then the panel can be swiveled on hinge joints.
2. Rear towing hook
The trolley is provided with a towing hook at the rear for hitching and pulling a similar trolley.
3. Parking jack
The trolley is provided with an height adjustable parking jack which can be used to facilitate quick and single man hitching / unhitching of the trolley to the tractor
Maintenance tips
- Ensure proper tightening of all nut bolts especially U clamps between the leaf springs and the axles with periodical checks as per the usage conditions.
- Ensure usage of lynch pins to lock the free ends of the locking pins.
- Ensure proper lubrication of the bearings in the hub of the axles at all times. Open the front screw cap of the hub for Appling grease on the bearings for lubrication.
- Ensure proper air pressure in the tyres at all times. The tyre with rim is connected to the hub by five nuts which can be opened to remove the tyre for repairing any puncture/air leakage.
